Ahh. The Christmas Party. I got soooo drunk. A lot of us did. It was a costume party held at quite an interesting venue (I never would have thought of it as a Party venue, let alone one for Christmas), and anyone not in pirate-themed attire was refused entry.

Nag-paparazzi mode ako sa party, share ko ang ilang pics sa susunod.

Dahil malapit na ang pasko, marami din tayong mga iniisip na mga regalo at kung paano makakatulong sa mga kapos-palad. Ako, nag-donate ako sa Red Cross through salary deduction. In return, the company gave me a free pass to wear casual clothes at work for the entire month. Si Vera, marami pang iniisip na ways para makatulong, syempre damay na rin ako dun.

August 1, 2009. Aquino Residence, #25 Times Street

Yay!

Nothing special this year sa pag celebrate.  Last year, Vera met the rest of my family for lunch at home.  Inumaga din kami dun because my brothers and my cousins stayed over for drinks. Ngayon, wala naman. We did go out for dinner (Sunday), but tomorrow’s just going to pass like a normal day (today na pala yun, I forgot that it’s already Monday, June 8).

I will be starting at my new job in a few hours.  I don’t think I’m excited, maybe a bit nervous.  Can I be a bum for one more week?

I guess it’s too late for a list of what I want in my life before I turn thirty.  So here’s a list of what I’m looking forward to in my thirtieth year:

• Performing in front of an audience again(playing the trumpet)
• Finding my art form and becoming an artist
• Slimming down to 32 inches of waistline!
• Getting promoted at work
• Saving for our future
• Being (getting) married

Does that look like a long list? I don’t think so. 

Achievable? I think so.

Ginusto kong ituloy ang trabaho. I thought this was the job I’d always look forward to doing – until I got to actually do it. It just wasn’t what I expected and had I known it was going to be that way, I probably would not have signed that contract – whether I had known of the company’s sale or not.

It shouldn’t be difficult to find another company in need of what I have to offer.  I just hope the time I spent at this company at the mall would not turn out to have been a total waste.
