Leechers

I went to St. Luke’s with Vera the other day, and then to lunch at Burger King right after. There were so many people in there! BK in E. Rodriguez has two floors, and offers free wi-fi access, as in many other BK branches. On the first floor, you can already see maybe 98% of the tables occupied by peeps taking advantage of this service. So we decided to go upstairs, only to find that it wasn’t any different.

If downstairs they seemed to be individuals or small groups but with a lot of laptops in the landscape, at the second floor they were in groups. There were about three empty tables (small ones, good for two people) left. I tried taking a picture discreetly, so pardon the blur:

Seems that these are students, working on papers and stuff. Monday was a non-working holiday which also meant no school. I guess they took advantage of the free day to go to BK and study? Bleh.

It was just annoying, and I don’t understand why BK management let’s this happen. Most of the tables don’t have any food anymore. Aren’t they losing money over this?

On another note, Vera signed up our blogs with LinkFromBlog which is another channel that maybe worthy to explore for earning through this sideline. I don’t think we’ve earned anything through my blog, but hopefully this new channel will give me better luck. It’s worth at least checking out, and who knows it might yield you good results too. One last thing, I have an interview tomorrow morning for the post I applied for.  Have my best interests in your thoughts please!
