No Jolly Jeep for me

I’m already on my second week of training, and I can’t wait to start taking calls. If it goes on any longer na hindi ako nagcalls, feeling ko mabo-bobo ako. (If I go any longer without calls, I’ll go dumb).

Enjoy ang Foundation Training. I’ve never had to go through American language and culture course or accent training in any of my previous call centers.  So I have to admit that I am quite nervous that I might flunk out on this one. Nakakahiya yun pag nagkataon.

I’ve had to eat at what are called jolly jeeps for lunch. There are many of these small eateries around the Makati Central Business District.  It would have been a money saver to keep on eating at the nearest jolly jeep, but my stomach didn’t agree with their food. :( Di naman ako maselan no, I eat almost anything anywhere and I am not one to be sensitive, but I must have taken a dump at every men’s room on every floor of our office building that day. Really.

So the next day I decided to try the cafeteria food. It’s not so bad. Plus we have one serving of rice on the house. I take two for every meal so that means I only pay for one. Not bad.

I’ve been thinking about packing lunch too. We’ll see.
